​Graphiant is a computer networking solutions startup with on a mission to empower humans to use their skills and build amazing things.

Problem

Marketing agency Expert Marketing Advisors (eMa) came to me to provide Graphiant with an identity package that would encapsulate the Graphiant team’s vision and character. As the startup came out of stealth, they needed a logo design that represented the needs of the company, but also the needs of each stakeholder representing the different departments of the company.

Deliverables

  • Brand planning to understand their core values and business
  • Mood boards informed by the questionnaire, from which one direction was selected and used to inform the logo iterations
  • Logo iterations based on selected mood board direction
  • Finalized logo representing the company as they see themselves—innovative and edgy
  • Business card and letterhead templates

Key Learnings

  • Defining core values upfront through a questionnaire helps the client/stakeholders align behind a common goal and drives the design as well as the selection process
  • Stakeholder representation and discussions where everyone felt heard resulted in a successful collaboration and logo design that represented everyone's perspective and expertise
